I'm racing for Aisha!
Aisha is from Merti where she lives with her mother, two brothers, two sisters, grandmother, and uncle. Her mother is the only one with a job and money is tight. While growing up, Aisha was not always able to attend primary school because her family couldn’t pay the fees. So, she found a much cheaper christian mission school that would make her primary school education. The problem was that the school wasn't part of her religion, and she faced a lot of discrimination by her peers. She loves Daraja because, even though everyone is different, there is no discrimination and they all get along. Aisha’s favorite subject is English because she likes to socialize with others who speak English. In her free time, she likes to help tutor her classmates, hang out with her Daraja family, and spend time in nature. Aisha wants to be a lawyer when she grows up. Her goal is to end corruption in Kenya. She also hopes to donate a share of her salary to orphans and children who can’t pay their school fees.
