When you've raised $100 you earn the Matatu Badge. Once a girl gets accepted to Daraja, then what? She has to get to school—and the travel can take hours or even days. But they come by matatu (bus), boda boda (motorcycle), and sometimes on foot. This money will help her get to school! Remember: Once you've earned this badge, you can request a Daraja shirt if you don't yet have one to race in.

And many girls grew up having to travel a mile or two to fetch water from a rivers filled with crocodiles and animal waste. Daraja not only supplies clean water to their students and staff, but also helps the surrounding communities. Prize: The first 30 people to earn this badge get a Daraja water bottle!
When you've raised $1000, you earn the She Believed Badge. When you believe in a girl, you show her that she is worth more than a dowry. You are teaching her to believe in her own worth, and that will make more of a difference in her life than anything else she learns at school. Prize: a specailly made "She Believed She Could So She Did" Mantraband (gold, rose gold, or silver)

MIMI NI DARAJA.
In Swahili it means: I am Daraja. And you are! After earning this badge, you will be added to Daraja's student sponsor list, and will receive letters from your sponsee throughout the year.
Earn this badge whenever your fundraising page has raised the most. This badge can move around, so make sure you have it on May 31st at midnight to be declared the official top fundraiser.
Prize: Become an honorary Daraja girl! (female or male) Get a special welcome by the school class president and even get assigned to a Daraja family tree. If you ever come to campus, you'll be right at home with your Daraja sisters.
