Last year Bob and I travelled to Iowa in our RV with Conrad and Kathy Mandsager who started an African humanification effort in Africa several years ago to help those in the war torn areas of Uganda, Nigeria and South Sudan. The purpose of the trip was to participate in a traditional bike ride across the state called RAGBRAI and raise money for this organization. ChildVoice acts on the conviction that children broken by war can be restored in safe, therapeutic settings with loving care, spiritual and emotional counseling, and effective education and vocational training. This is accomplished through both community-based and center-based programs. For more on ChildVoice, RAGBRAI and last years fundraising effort go to RAGBRAI2019.

This year the Iowa ride across the state has been cancelled due to COVID-19, so we are doing a NH RAGBRIA instead to raise money for this worthwhile cause. During the July and August Bob will be riding 450 miles to duplicate what we would have done in Iowa. Others will be joining us in this effort and we are asking people to donate to ChildVoice for our efforts. Our overall team goal is $4200 (my personal goal is $500). Last year with the help of several people we were able to raise around $2500. Thanks for helping this year!
