Why Diankha Supports Rainier Scholars
For over 20 years, Rainier Scholars has invested in believing in kids with enormous potential by expanding their vision of what's possible, including by:
providing equitable access to college prep pathways in public & private schools
guiding students on a 12-year journey to and through college, creating boundless opportunities for personal, academic and professional growth
fostering a college-going culture through which generational poverty can be broken and new pathways forged (we have Rainier Scholars who have been admitted to some of the most competitive colleges, including all of our nation's Ivy-league schools)
developing new generations of diverse leaders
The work starts with four and fifth grade students of color, most of whom are on track to be the first college graduate in their families. I believe that Rainier Scholars is essential to creating access and opportunity in the greater Seattle area -- ultimately helping to build a more just and equitable world.
