Make your milestone have a deeper impact by dedicating your birthday, wedding, anniversary, or other special occasion to the Downtown Women's Center. In lieu of gifts, invite your friends and family to join together to support DWC in our work to end homelessness for women in Los Angeles. The money you raise will help bring housing, wellness, and stability to women experiencing or transitioning out of homelessness.
- Step One: Create your fundraising page. Set a goal, upload a profile picture, and personalize your page by sharing why ending women's homelessness is important to you.
- Step Two: Ask for donations. We've included sample fundraising emails and social media posts in the "resources" tab of your campaign page.
- Step Three: Thank your donors. All donors will receive a receipt at the time of their donation, but we encourage you to thank them personally as well. Send an email, hand write a card, or give a shout out on social media- the important thing is to let them know how much their support means to you.
