Since 2015, BKD has joined St. John Center as a Sponsor of Hope for the annual Raisin’ the Rent Party.  BKD’s involvement as a sponsor of RTR began when Matt Berrian started serving on the board of directors.  Matt became acquainted with St. John Center through several formerly homeless men he met through church, which had spoken highly of the care and attention they had received from SJC.  When a former board member reached out in 2014 regarding an open board position, he stepped into service on the finance committee, as well as the board.

Through the years, many current and former BKDers have supported St. John Center through attending our annual fundraiser, as well as donations of money and supplies to benefit the men of the shelter.  Because we can’t gather in person this year, we are relying on these virtual house parties to raise money for St. John Center this year.  This is typically our largest fundraiser of the year, so please consider giving to support the cause!
