When Heather Fox asked me to join forces and harness the power of our Heather-ness by hosting a virtual house party to raise money for St. John’s in their mission to end homelessness, I thought, ‘heck yes, I do!’  

The end of homelessness does not happen without support from the community, with each person helping the next so that each can help themselves.  I am super excited to play some music for our house party guests and help to further intertwine our small communities of Louisville.   We can’t wait to see your smiling faces there!

I started volunteering at St. John Center in December of 2018 after my dear friend Jane Walsh posted on her social media that it was her favorite place in the world. It changed my life. I have made freinds with volunteers and staff. I have gotten to know many of the guys who have come through there. It didn't take me long to understand why Jane called St. John Center a special place. It resonate with compassion, connection and care. And it is also fun.
