Ignatius (AKA Trash Cat in honor of his love of digging in the trash) is our majestic 6-year-old sun god who was adopted in 2020 from Richmond Animal League. He was in rough shape when we met him, but the wonderful folks at RAL gave him lots of love before finding him a home with us. They paid for an echocardiogram ($$$$) to diagnose an issue with his heart that they noticed right before we adopted him. Despite having an enlarged heart (both literally and figuratively), Iggy is a scrappy fighter with a big personality! Iggy is well known by our friends and family for his thunderous purrs, as well as his love of board games & bread. He enjoys a life of luxury with us and we are so grateful that RAL gave him the opportunity for a new life with us. Iggy loves being the center of attention and his dream is to be on the cover of the RAL calendar.
