Hello everyone! I’m so happy to introduce myself to you. My name is Watson, and I was adopted by my forever Mom and Dad, Ralph and Gail, on October 20, 2021, through Lucky Dog Rescue in Washington DC. I now live in a country setting. A big change from city life and living in a kennel! But I’m loving my new home, I like having real grass, and birds and bunny rabbits to look at. I have since had my first Christmas, I have lots of toys and treats, and I have lots of new friends at the dog park. My Dad and I walk every day and I get to visit with our surrounding neighbors. They all adore me and are always telling me how handsome and smart I am. I traveled a bit before I was adopted. I was young when I ended up in a kill shelter in another State and thankfully Lucky Dog Rescue came to get me and brought me to DC. I wasn’t really a puppy when Ralph and Gail adopted me, I’m about 2 years old as of now. But as my Mom puts it, I came with some social graces, and although it was an adjustment, I caught on fast to the rules and ways of my new home and hybrid pack family, Mom, Dad and Me (I’m an only child). Yeah, I brought a little baggage with me. Like I get real excited when company comes, it’s so hard to contain how happy I am to meet them, and I have a thing about touching my feet! But I’m working on it, and everyone seems to understand. What I really want to share, is that there’s nothing better than a loving friend and safe happy home.
