Small Art with Big Heart
Sugar & Spice is home to the ever-popular Small Art with Big Heart auction. Every year, participants have a chance to take home one-of-a-kind pieces of artwork. Each piece is made with love by members of our very own RVA community! Enjoy works from all ages and talents, including student art from local schools.
Join us on Saturday, January 18th at the Visual Arts Center for a Small Art with Big Heart Preview event! You can stop by anytime between 10 AM & 4 PM. This event is free to attend and open to the public. It will be the first time the 2025 works of art are revealed and the auction will open online! Whether you're attending Sugar & Spice on February 8th or simply participating as a virtual bidder from home, anyone can have a chance to bid on these lovely works of art!

Silent & Live Auction
In addition to the art auction, Sugar & Spice will feature a general silent auction with gift cards, RVA experiences, weekend getaways, and more! The general silent auction opens February 1st, while the Small Art with Big Heart auction debuts January 18th. Both auctions are open to in-person and at-home supporters.
In-person attendees will also enjoy an exclusive live auction featuring unforgettable trips to Mexico, Iceland, Italy, and the Grand Canyon. Plus, bid to make your pet the 2026 RAL Mascot or join Väsen Brewing for a Collaboration Brew Day to craft and name a custom beer—proceeds will support RAL!
