Read(y) to Wear is Madison Reading Project’s annual fashion show and fundraiser - bringing together lovers of reading and fashion in support of literacy. With over 500 attendees, this show features paper couture created by local designers and creative teams who compete in our runway show for a coveted top three spots and the champion’s crown.

What to Expect
Event attendees will experience a one-of-a-kind paper fashion show and have an unforgettable evening supporting an amazing cause. Step into outer space for this year’s event! With an array of wearable paper garments created by local designers, artists, and literary enthusiasts, you will be amazed by the color, texture, and detail. Included in the experience is a spectacular silent auction, delectable appetizers, a cash bar, and tailored experiences to enhance the magic of the moment.
After each model has sashayed the runway, celebrity judges select their top three contenders. Event attendees will cast their vote to determine who our ultimate winner and the crowned champion for the evening will be.
