After Piper was unexpectedly stillborn in 2019 I felt lost, and wished I could prevent this for others in the future. I struggled to find a way to do this, as there was no disorder or specific danger I felt I could make people aware of.  Eventually, I found the Star Legacy Foundation. As a non-profit they use donations to support research on pregnancy outcomes, numerous services to support families, materials to support hospitals, and more.  The better it is understood why these "freak accidents" occur, the better chance they can be detected/avoided in the future. 

This October I'll be attending the Remember Us Still event in Chicago and would like to do my part in supporting the great work they're doing.
