My Benjamin Lucas was born sleeping on June 9, 2022. The shock and pain were immense and even after two years, it remains. We walk to honor my precious baby, who is forever beautiful, forever loved and always remembered.

Star Legacy was one of the first organizations I found in the early days of my loss journey. I participated in their support group, which was such a great help in those early days. I also benefited immensely from having a peer companion (another loss mom further in her journey) who was and is really supportive as I navigate life without Benny. The services Star Legacy provides are so critical and needed to the folks who are unfortunate enough to have to embark on this journey.
