On September 2nd, The Hershey Company will be sponsoring 2 relay teams that will be competing at Tri Fest for MS in Bentonville, AR. I encourage folks who are local to participate or come out to support this event. While there are a multitude of events, our teams will be participating in a relay that includes: Running, Swimming and Biking – I will proudly be participating in the running portion of this race. This event is one that holds personal significance as it is raising awareness and funds for Multiple Sclerosis (MS). My mom was diagnosed with MS in 2009 and is still battling the chronic effects and symptoms of the disease today. While well spirited and supported by loved ones, the impact and pain can not be ignored. My family is not alone in the challenges faced and if you are able, I welcome you to donate to the Rampy MS Research Foundation to help raise funds for a cause that has will help those with MS, just like my mom.
