Several years ago our daughter had to have a procedure done at Children's Mercy hospital in Kansas City. During that procedure we were welcomed into the Ronald McDonald house for a few hours while we waited. What a difference surroundings can make! In addition to our own experience, we know several other families who have stayed in various Ronald McDonald Houses for weeks on end while their child or sibling was being treated. Each of them echoed what we already knew to be true, the Ronald McDonald House is a huge blessing and comfort! We've tried to support the Ronald McDonal house over the years by providing food for those who stay there and by giving financially. I'm so excited to be able to participate in the Red Shoe ride as another way to give back.
