As you may or may not know, the Missouri Legislaturer has recently moved to overturn two of the ballot meaures democractically voted on by Missourians last novemeber. But this is hardly anything new; for decades our legislator has repeatively overturned laws enacted by the Missouri people, despite it being their job to represent us. But no more!
Respect Missouri Voters plans to put a new initiative on the ballot, one that will stop the legislature from:
Overturning voter initiatives without an 80% supermajority vote.
Putting Amendments on the ballot that make the initiative process harder.
Tricking voters with misleading langue on ballots.
But before they can start the petition processes this july, they need funding (300,000 buckaroos to be exact!). So please consider:
