This June, we will once again be participating in the Ride for the Living in support of the Jewish Community Centre (JCC) in Krakow, Poland. This event includes a 100 kilometre bicycle trip from Auschwitz to the JCC, taking participants from the depths of despair, destruction and death to new, hopeful Jewish life.
Will you once again help this small Jewish community defy its bleak history and stand strong by sponsoring us with a small donation? Your donation will go directly to support the JCC which provides a wide range of activities, including wellness programs and a seniors’ club for Holocaust survivors, as well as social, educational, art and cultural activities for a growing membership which currently exceeds 1,100 members. As well, the JCC has opened the first Jewish preschool in Poland since WWII. Since the start of the war in Ukraine, the JCC team has also been very busy working tirelessly to help Ukrainian refugees, and has become a hub, providing support with food, supplies, lodging and other assistance to hundreds of refugees.

Thank you very much for considering this cause – your support will make a big difference!
