Taos and the Taos Ski Valley have had a special place in my heart for many years. Having grown up skiing at TSV, my wife Ally couldn’t wait to share her passion for Taos with me. A few months after we started dating she brought me there with her family to hike Kachina Peak and I was hooked. Since then we have spent a lot of time in Taos skiing, hiking, biking, exploring and just enjoying nature in its most beautiful form.
While I have always been sure to spread the stoke both on and off the mountain, I am excited to donate my time, money, energy, and lots of sweat to provide a greater impact on the community. That’s why this year I will be up on the mountain both Friday the 18th and Saturday 19th, spreading stoke and hiking my face off to shred the runs that I love while raising money for the Emergency Medicines Fund at Taos Community Foundation. The Foundation grants in the area of health and basic needs in Taos and western Colfax Counties, providing support to those that need it most. Not only will you be helping a great cause by donating, but you will push me to continue crushing hikes and encouraging others to pause and reflect on our amazing place in this world.
I understand not everyone can donate, but I encourage you to spread good vibes and do what you can to make the world just a little bit better. Thanks and be well!
