Hello, our names are Jeff and Cathy Gokie. We have become familiar with Hereditary Ataxia due to our close friendship with the Perault family. We have witnessed personally and through their stories the devastating effects of this disease. Our hearts go out to those who struggle with the day to day challenges associated with this diagnosis. We are happy to offer our physical efforts that this hike will require, which comparatively is very little. The funds raised during this hike will go towards Ataxia research for effective treatments and hopefully a cure. We have committed to raising $20,000 for this adventure, and could use your help! Xtreme Hike 2025: Grand Canyon North to South Rim

NAF is committed to supporting those affected by Ataxia. This year, we're taking our mission to new heights with the NAF Xtreme Hike! This trek will take us through one of the world's most iconic landscapes -from Grand Canyon's North to South Rim.
All participants will be asked to pledge a minimum of $10,000 to join this adventure. All donations will directly support NAF's mission. Only 26 spots are available!
