The Ronald McDonald House has been close to my heart for years. I first learned about the charity in 2007 while attending University of Michigan, where I joined a student group that cooked gourmet food for the families staying at the house in Ann Arbor. Since then I've led over 20 groups cooking at the Ronald McDonald Houses across Michigan, Wisconsin, and South Carolina, providing an easy and comforting dinner to the families going through tough times.
