When I was in elementary school in Minnesota, I used to make myself a blanket tent over a heating vent in the corner of the living room and spend many hours reading there, staying warm during the long winters. I loved the Black Stallion books and anything else to do with horses. Now I mostly read about teaching and learning, but I also love historical fiction, psychological thrillers, young adult fiction, unconventional romances and feminist sci-fi.
