Join us for Roosevelt's largest fundraiser and social event of the year!

The need to support public schools in Iowa has never been greater than it is now! This fun event truly touches all corners of the Roosevelt community.

35% of proceeds benefit the Roosevelt activities department
35% benefit TRHS Foundation scholarships
15% allocated to Roosevelt's general fund
15% is made available to our feeder schools through grant funding

We need you to show your Rider Pride and help make this event a success!

This years R Party will return to the Des Moines Marriott Downtown and be held from 6-9 p.m. The evening will consist of:

a Rider Community social hour;
silent auction with hundreds of exciting items;
plated dinner including dessert; and
a live auction.

Steve Berry is a 1979 graduate of Roosevelt and has been a fixture on Des Moines stages and TV stations for nearly five decades. He played numerous leading roles while at Roosevelt and at the Des Moines Community Playhouse where he was inducted into their "Legends Hall of Fame.” Steve enjoys emceeing events for a number of organizations, including Animal Lifeline, House of Mercy, Orchard Place, the Salvation Army, and his alma mater, Drake University. In his spare time, he is lead singer for the Des Moines-area '70s cover band Stark Raving Madge.
