Hello everyone-

I have once again entered an event that supports a non-profit organization. This time the event is the Missoula Marathon and yours and my fundraising support are going to the Youth Homes of Montana. I enjoy challenges, this one I set for myself. I have run a few half marathons, but never a full. Shortly after I retired from the Fire Service I decided I wanted to set some new goals, one of which was to run a Marathon in my 60th year. Well, at the time that I am writing this, that year ends here in a few days. I'm going to miss the mark by a couple of months. Most races were canceled last year. Covid impacted us all in many ways. 

I am excited to be supporting the Youth Homes. They have been supporting the youth of Western Montana through youth homes, foster care, and counseling programs since 1971. Programs like this have had a direct impact on our family, I am humbled by the work they do, and happy to put forth the effort of completing this challenge on their behalf. I have set a fundraising goal of $500. I would like to ask you to please consider supporting this organization and my goal by contributing to this fundraising event.
