Run 4 Kids is a non profit that provides local children, who come from a variety of backgrounds, a safe place to call home through the Youth Home organization.
This year I have the incredible opportunity to run the Missoula Marathon in beautiful Western Montana with the Run 4 Kids Team. The charity helps children who come from unstable homes or even those who are homeless by providing them with essential items such as clothing or groceries as well as opportunities such as one on one treatment or special acitivities. I am incredibly grateful to come from a loving and stable home with many opportunities growing up so I am looking forward to a chance to give back and run in honor of those less fortunate. I hope to to offer monetary support to the Run 4 Kids group while also inspiring them as running has had such a positive influence on my life. From meeting new people and hearing their stories, to seeing new cities and experiencing other cultures, running itself has been an enlightening experience for me. It has helped create a sense of empowerment and strength to which I can carry into all aspects of life; something I would love to share with youth if it might help them naivigate their way through this world. I look forward to this upcoming journey and thank you for your consideration and support!
