Uncertainty seems to be a constant these days. For me, connection makes a big impact when I'm feeling off balance, and it's why I'm happy to be able to contribute to such a great cause like Youth Homes. I can't help but think that the chaos the world is feeling right now is a familiar feeling in the lives of the kids Youth Homes helps. Now more than ever projects like Run For Kids are so important! This organization has always been close to my heart, not only because my mom (who I'll be running with) is on the board, but because I've dealt with a lot of similar struggles as those kids. In October of this year I'll be celebrating 2 years of sobriety, something that I did not think was possible for a very long time. I am so grateful for the support I've received along the way and to be able to pay it forward in any way, shape, or form is all I can ask for.
