THANK YOU for your participation and support of the 2017 Inaugural Run for Hope benefiting The Faine House, a program of Children's Home Society of Florida!
We hope you had a wonderful time and wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you for your support and donations! Our total surpassed our first-year goal and to date, $63,000 has been raised for the young men and women living at The Faine House!
Hats off and big kudos to the following individuals and teams that raised thousands of dollars to change lives in our community.
Kelly O’Donahoe from WELBRO Building Corporation and Jeff Forrest at Winter Park Construction take our top individual awards raising an amazing $11,062 and $9,138 respectively. It was incredible watching their totals climb as they asked friends and colleagues to support their efforts. We are excited to announce that because of their amazing efforts both Kelly and Jeff will receive our top fundraising prize (Dinner/Lunch with Jeff Faine and Magic tickets). Tiffany Payne-Geyer from Baker Hostettler placed third with $1,995. Thank you for going above and beyond this year Kelly, Jeff and Tiffany!
In the team’s category, WELBRO Building Corporation took first place at $13,317! Wow! And Winter Park Construction took second with $10,543 in donations and support, and coming in third is Team Happy Feet for Faine House, Randall Mechanical with $5,105 in donations. BSS (Behavioral Support Services) and Team Chardonnay round out the top five. Great job to all the teams! We are so thankful for your generosity and amazing teamwork!
The 5K Run for Hope website is open until January 31st for any last-minute donations. www.FaineHouse5K.org . Your donations do so much to help our former foster children transition to excellence! And we couldn’t do this without YOU!
