Most of you know one of my closest, and best friends, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer earlier this year. Non-Small Cell Adenocarcinoma is the evil that has tried to bring her down... but those that know Casey know what a fighter she is and what an inspiration she is to all of us.
She is a young mother and wife and fitness is a large part of her life. Despite the challenges thrown her way, she has still found time to remain active by hiking, walking, getting outdoors to keep herself moving in anyway her body can tolerate.
This walk represents the very things that have been threatened to be taken from her... her ability to RUN...WALK... BREATHE... with ease. Something we all likely take for granted on a daily basis.
I would love if you would join our team, Casey's Crew, to walk or run with us or if you are able, to make a donation in support of Lung Cancer Awareness.
DID YOU KNOW:
AN ESTIMATED 236,740 PEOPLE will be diagnosed with lung cancer in 2022 in the U.S.
There's no one type of person who develops lung cancer. Lung cancer strikes both men and women and people of all ages
Lung cancer is one of the conditions that receives the lowest non-profit fundings.
