My friend, Casey Lantz, lost her fight against lung cancer earlier this year. She was young and healthy, and the news of her having cancer was shocking. She ate healthy, exercised regularly, and was a non-smoker. Her friends and I never thought we would lose her to this. She fought hard and was so strong through it all, but unfortunately her form of cancer was just so aggressive. It's so important to me and her other loved ones to raise lung cancer awareness and help raise money towards research. Our hope is one day others won't have to go through losing a loved one to this.
