The Luebbers Crew team was established in 2019 after my dad, Joe Luebbers lost his very short battle with lung cancer. In 2018, he was misdiagnosed with pneumonia twice with a final diagnosis of stage IV small cell adenocarcinoma. In effort to redirect my grief and to keep his memory alive, I joined the Lung Cancer Connection as a volunteer.  Four years later, I am now the Chair of the Board of Directors and dedicate my passion around early detection, research and spreading awareness.  Our organization is making an impact in the St. Louis and surrounding areas by partnering with local Oncologist, Thoracic Surgeons and Lung Navigators to connect patients and caregivers to important informative information around lung cancer.
