The best part? Bidding opens online before the event, so you can start the fun early—and you don’t have to be present to win. Whether you’re joining us on race day or cheering from afar, you can still take home something special while supporting animals in need.

Want to be part of the fun without running the 5K? Volunteers help make Run, Walk, Wag possible! We have a variety of roles available throughout the event, whether you prefer to be right in the middle of the action or help behind the scenes.
Volunteer opportunities include helping with event setup and cleanup, participant registration and check-in, course support and direction, cheering on runners and walkers, and more.
We’d love to have you join us. It’s a fun way to support the event, connect with fellow animal lovers, and help create a great experience for everyone who comes out to Run, Walk, Wag!
Run, Walk, Wag 5k and Community Event is dog-friendly! All dogs must be kept on a short, controlled leash at all times. We do ask that reactive dogs be left at home.
Can I bring other animals?
You may bring other furry animals if they remain contained in carriers or strollers (no paws on the ground). This is to help ensure their safety, as this is a dog-friendly event.
Is this a timed race?
Run, Walk, Wag 5k is an un-timed fun run. There will be a staggered start to allow for space between participating pups.
What if it rains?
The event is rain or shine except in the case of extreme storms, in which case there will not be a rain date, and all registrations will take the form of a donation.
Do I need to register my child?
Kids 12 and under participate for free! We ask that they remain with a participating adult during the event. Before attending a dog-friendly event, it's a good idea to review with kids how to greet new doggie friends safely.
