Frequently Asked Questions

How are Qgiv and Givi related?

Qgiv is an online donation and event registration tool for non-profit organizations. Qgiv created the Givi app so that organizations can provide one-click donating to their donors directly from their mobile devices. Supporters will utilize the Givi app to check in, submit bids, and make event purchases.

How do I bid with the Givi app?

Step 1: Purchase a ticket for the event (Saline Area Social Service (qgiv.com))

Step 2: Download the Givi application through your phone app store (GiviAuctionTutorial.pdf (riversidecc.org))

Step 3: To be taken directly to your auction in the app, enter the event code you received after registration. You can find the code in your registration confirmation email. When you click “Go,” you’ll be logged directly into the auction. Confirm or edit your ticket details.

How Do I bid without the Givi app?

You will be using the Web-based version during the event. After registering for the auction, check your email for a registration confirmation email with instructions on creating a password. After logging in, you’ll be redirected to the items page where you can browse available items. See something you like? Click the item and then click Place Bid.

Buying Multiple Tickets with Web-Based Navigation

When registering for an auction online, you might be able to select packages that include multiple tickets, such as a Table Sponsorship.

To assign tickets:

  1. Ticket Details: The first ticket is automatically assigned to you. Uncheck "My ticket" if you don't plan to use it.
  2. Send to Guest: Click this to enter your guest’s name, email, and phone number. The guest will receive their ticket via email after registration.

If you can register as a company, you'll see that option in the Ticket Buyer Information section. If you choose this, you can assign all guest tickets under the company name by checking the appropriate box.

After registration, you’ll see a confirmation page with a “Manage Your Tickets” button. This will take you to the Manage Tickets page where you can click “Print Your Ticket” to generate a PDF of all your tickets.
