I am super thankful to have an opportunity to be apart of such a charitable community that supports a different cause each and every year. SALSthon, which stands for students about life saving, is all about reinforcing what it means to be apart of a community. If you have not heard of it before, it is where three schools (Padua Academy, Salesianum, and Ursuline Academy) work together to raise as much money as possible in the course of a few weeks in support of a variety of beneficiaries. 

This year we are supporting the Saint Patrick's Center. The St. Patrick’s Center has been a sanctuary for people in need since 1971. They offer essential support to the homeless population on Wilmington’s east side, including emergency food, meals, respite, clothing, transportation, and recreational activities. Their aim is to create a welcoming and caring environment where individuals are treated with dignity and respect regardless of their struggles and where they are in life. Beyond fulfilling basic needs, everyone desires to be respected and accepted, regardless of their economic status or age.

Following the rich Christian tradition, the dedicated team at St. Patrick’s Center embodies love, appreciation, and consideration for every individual and family they assist, embracing diversity of cultures, faiths, and beliefs. ( Visit to learn more: https://stpatrickscenter.org/ ) 

Over the course of the last two years we have raised $526,878.59 , and strive to continue this tradition of good. Every penny counts, and something as simple as spreading the word helps too!
