I’m participating in this year’s SALSTHON campaign to raise money for Read Aloud Delaware located in Wilmington, DE.  Read Aloud Delaware is a nonprofit organization that provides thousands of opportunities to introduce children from 1 to 5 years old to the world of literacy and to spark the desire to become readers.  

Research has shown that children who are read to from an early age have bigger brains, larger vocabularies, and greater knowledge of the world around them. Most importantly, they are more likely to have mastered language skills which will permit them to interact appropriately with their teachers and their peers. These skills will help them succeed in school and in life.!
