When I was a little girl my Mom and Dad read stories to me every night before bed.  I would ask them to read the same books over and over again.  So much so, that at a very young age even before I learned to read, I knew when they would tell a shorter version of the story.  Mom and Dad would ask, "How do you know what we missed when you can't even read?" I listened and enjoyed my parents reading those stories before I could read for myself. I memorized the words of the books read to me and knew when they were trying cut my story short!  I am grateful for them spending the time with me reading books.  This is where my passion for reading and enjoying books started.  There is something special about getting lost in a great story.
