Hi, my name is Matthew Lewis, class of 28’ at Salesianum, and I am helping Sallies raise money for Salsthon which is being held on March 15, 2025! 

Salsthon is an event where students from Salesianum, Padua, and Ursuline come together to raise money for a local non profit organization. This year Salsthon will be raising money for Read Aloud Delaware. 

Read Aloud Delaware is a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring that every child is read to regularly from birth. The organization provides volunteer-led reading sessions, literacy resources, and advocacy for early childhood education. 

Being read to is something that I definitely took for granted and assumed happened for all children.  My parents read to me nightly, from picture books to chapter books.  I didn't realize many children don't have this similar experience.  

My goal for this event is $2,028.  Yes, I realize it's a high goal, but any size donation would be greatly appreciated!    Thanks for your support!
