In 2015, SALSTHON partnered with the Delaware Center for Homeless Veterans.

The DCHV works to provide safe, affordable housing and supportive services for veterans and their families and to end the cycle of veteran homlesness. Our work helped raise over $155,000 for the DCHV enabling the non-profit to to purchase and refurbish a 12 bed facility in downtown Wilmington.

Since SALSTHON 2015:

• The DCHV secured a long-term HUD-VA contract allowing it to purchase a former nursing home and reopen the site as The Pearl Center, 51 units of permament housing for homeless and formerly homeless veretans.
• Provides holistic supportive services in mental health, D&A treatnent, job readiness skills, financial coaching, income supportive services, and career counseling for homeless veterans their families.
• Designed and developed the Veterans Service Coalition of Delaware - six veteran focused nonprofits partnering to comab homelessness throughout Delaware.
