Come Out Swinging!
August 24th, 2026, will be another day to remember for friends and supporters! Cincinnati Cancer Foundation (CCF) is proud to announce the return of its sixth annual, newly-renamed Steve Abbott Memorial Golf Classic at Clovernook Country Club. This always fun, memorable day will honor the determination and advocacy of CCF’s late Executive Director to combat cancer - an adversary that still kills more than 600,000 Americans and 4,000 Greater Cincinnatians each year.
Steve was a fighter who “came out swinging” through his entire 11-year battle with advanced prostate cancer. He refused to let his diagnosis affect his daily life or purpose at CCF. He loved his work, his family, his friends, and seeing the world in all its beauty. This premier golf outing will continue to unite Bearcats and Musketeers vs. Cancer while harnessing Steve’s energy and the power of HOPE - a quality that holds tremendous value at CCF. Steve said it best, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know one thing: there is no substitute for hope when fighting cancer.”
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Cincinnati Cancer Foundation Inc., which powers the no-cost second opinion services at the Cincinnati Cancer Advisors.
Sponsorships are limited and can be purchased by contacting Natalie Ciulla at natalie@ccf-inc.org. We would love your company's support for this exciting and potentially life-saving event!
