My experience with my son Joe Anthony led me to start making a difference and participate in the Congenital Heart Walk. Joe was diagnosed with a VSD. It was a hole in between the lower chambers his heart worked extra hard as it was trying to pump blood to his body. Requiring open heart surgery. And I give much thanks to GOD for guiding the hands of the surgeons while performing the surgery. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
