Hi Friends ~ I am an advanced practice nurse who has been caring for women with gynecologic cancers for close to 40 yrs. Managing treatment and advocating for these women and their families is my passion. I have been privileged to navigate and coordinate care from time of diagnosis and sometimes end of life. Every experience is a gift where I am humbled, inspired, and awed by the strength, vulnerability, and resilience of these remarkable women. When I started all those years ago, many of my patients, especially with ovarian cancer, only lived a few years with their advanced disease. Now there are so many treatment options and longer survival outcomes thank you ladies for enrolling in clinical trials to find answers) But so much more is needed. Thank you for your support.
