This is officially my last year of skating. Throughout my 9 seasons I've had my ups and downs like everyone does, but it's created more positives in my live than anything ever could. It's taught me how stand up when I fall down and the grit that it takes to be strong. The community that it's given me is one that I wouldn't be able to find anywhere else or in any other sport. A community that is dedicated to making sure that everyone is accepted and loved.
This sport means the world to me and it makes me sad to have to leave juniors behind, but right now my team is raising money in order for us to go to champs again and to regain our title.
