Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance. Just last year, in 2022, we completed construction on an expansion at our Taft Hill campus and moved our cat shelter across town.

Hello! I am the Foster and Transfer Program Coordinator for Animal Friends Alliance and I have been working for Animal Friends Alliance for just over 2 years. I have worked a shift in almost every department, but I have to say the foster program stole my heart for sure. I feel incredibly lucky to be where I am today and to be helping so many cats and dogs find loving foster homes while they wait for their journey to adoption. In 2023 alone, the alliance's foster program has helped over 500 dogs/puppies and almost 1800 cats/kittens. WOW! We seriously can not do this without our amazing foster homes! Included is a picture of when my manager, Julia, and I got to visit one of our rescue partners in Houston, Texas, as well as a just a handful of the kitties and puppies we have saved so far... My camera roll is obnoxiously full of shelter animals.
