Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance. Just last year, in 2022, we completed construction on an expansion at our Taft Hill campus and moved our cat shelter across town.

Each year we hold a month-long crowdfunding campaign in an effort to raise life-saving funds for animals in need in our community and beyond. This year our goal is to raise, $160,000! Our event began September 1st and ends October 2nd at midnight! 

This year we are launching volunteer fundraising teams to stir up some healthy competition! There are two teams that you can either join or donate directly to: Team Cat and Team Dog. Both teams have a goal of $5,000 and are fundraising for the following shelter improvements:

Cats - General Ringworm Ward Improvements, Traps for the Trap Neuter Release (TNR) Program, and Updated Door Kick Plates

Dogs - Play Yard Shade Installation, Dog Behavior Support Activities
