ABOUT ANIMAL FRIENDS ALLIANCE ✨

Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance - an adoption-guarantee shelter and subsidized spay & neuter clinic. Since 2006, we have adopted out over 41,000 dogs and cats to loving homes, spayed and neutered over 100,000 dogs and cats between our clinic and shelter, and helped over 5,400 community cats through our Community Cat Program and Adoptions Program.

A BIT ABOUT ME ✨

I'm a 25-year-old Fort Collins local living with my boyfriend and our two cats, Skye and Astro (take a peek at my photo gallery below to learn more about them)! In my free time, I love going to concerts, reading, and paddle boarding at Horsetooth Reservoir. I graduated from Colorado State University in 2020 with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies, dreaming of making a difference in the lives of others. While I spent the past 5 years as an early childhood educator nurturing the minds that will one day lead and innovate, I found my true calling in animal welfare 7 months ago when I became the Volunteer Program Manager here at the Alliance!

Being a part of this organization has been nothing short of incredible! I've had the joy of working with amazing staff and volunteers who share my passion. I've onboarded new volunteers, coordinated service projects, organized volunteer appreciation events, and participated in fundraising and community events like our annual Gala for Animals, BrewPawPaw bingo, and the Healthy Pets Clinic, where we helped over 100 animals and their families. I'm so lucky to have a career where I get the unbeatable feeling of knowing that I'm making a difference in the lives of animals and pet parents in need every day. ❤️‍

Beyond the fun and fluff, we’re on a mission to provide comprehensive companion animal resources, services, and education to the community to prevent homelessness and promote the human-animal bond. And that’s where you come in! We're raising funds to support our life-saving programs, and I would be so grateful for your help.
