I have had an eventful and fulfilling first year with Animal Friends Alliance, first as Director of Community Engagement and now as our New Director of Development! I am very excited for our team to grow and to continue some of the fun and rewarding work with animals and our amazing Fort Collins community. Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance - an adoption-guarantee shelter and subsidized spay & neuter clinic. Since 2006, we have adopted out over 41,000 dogs and cats to loving homes, spayed and neutered over 100,000 dogs and cats between our clinic and shelter, and helped over 5,400 community cats through our Community Cat Program and Adoptions Program.
