Ranger Amy's Fundraising Page

Welcome to Ranger Amy's personal fundraising page!

The pup in my profile pic is Nathan. He was at risk of euthanasia at a high-kill rescue in Texas, and was lucky enough to be transported to us in Fort Collins, CO (aka- dog paradise), last month. Nathan is really as happy of a dog as he looks in this pic at the adoption event I got to take him to! I'm so happy to report that he was adopted into an amazing home, that same day!

I started volunteering for Animal Friends Alliance - an adoption-guarantee ("no-kill") shelter and low-cost spay & neuter clinic last year. I was so impressed and inspired by their work... this year, I joined them as an employee! I can honestly and proudly say, my organization does AMAZING work by not only adopting out thousands of dogs and cats every year, but addressing the root causes of pet overpopulation in this country. Our staff advises shelters in other states struggling with overpopulation issues. My job at the Alliance with a program called PAL (Prevent-a-Litter) helps those in need by subsidizing the cost of spay/neuter and vaccinations at our already low-cost clinic.

My work is launching this huge grassroots fundraising campaign in hopes of raising $175,000 for animals in need like Nathan. They've asked staff to help, and I am excited to join the effort! My goal is raising $2,000. Every dollar raised goes toward expenses like: transport of adoptable pets out of high-kill shelters, medical procedures, or helping people on limited incomes to get low-cost spays and neuters for their pets.through our subsidized PAL (Prevent-a-Litter) Program (where I work). When it's only $35 to spay or neuter a kitten in our clinic-- your donation, however small, goes a long way!

Since 2006, Animal Friends Alliance has adopted out over 41,000 dogs and cats to loving homes, spayed and neutered over 100,000 dogs and cats, and helped over 5,400 community cats in need of medical care through our Community Cat Program and Adoptions Program.

Your donation- no matter what size- during our Saving Pets Challenge will help us continue our life-saving work in Northern Colorado and beyond. Here's to 18 – and many more – years of love!
