Bailey Rutter's Saving Pets Challenge Fundraising Page
Hi there!
I'm Bailey, and over the past three years I have had the amazing opportunity to witness firsthand the incredible impact our organization has on the lives of animals and their humans.
I started with Animal Friends Alliance in our extraordinary spay/neuter clinic, where I saw firsthand the importance of responsible pet care and education for our community. In March of 2023, I took on a new role on our philanthropy team as our Giving Program Administrator. It's been an unbelievably rewarding experience to work behind the scenes, connecting people like you with our mission to save and improve the lives of cats and dogs in our community and beyond.
During my time here, I've not only been a part of our team, but also a foster parent to 16 unforgettable animals. I'm proud to say that all of them, regardless of their unique needs, have now found loving homes, showcasing the direct impact we have on transforming the lives of these animals and the people who adopt them.
Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance - an adoption-guarantee shelter and subsidized spay & neuter clinic. Since 2006, we have adopted out over 41,000 dogs and cats to loving homes, spayed and neutered over 100,000 dogs and cats between our clinic and shelter, and helped over 5,400 community cats through our Community Cat Program and Adoptions Program.
Donate during our Saving Pets Challenge to help us continue our life-saving work in Northern Colorado and beyond. Here's to 18 – and many more – years of love!

Bailey & Bailey
Meet Bailey, the cutest patient with the perfect name, who recently paid a visit to our clinic for her spay. Our dedicated clinic staff goes above and beyond to provide unparalleled care, ensuring every patient's comfort throughout their stay with us. With unwavering commitment, our incredible team of veterinarians and amazing clinic staff have successfully spayed and neutered over 5,000 animals this year alone. We're proud to have such an awesome group of professionals making a positive impact on our furry friends' lives!
Feral Tomcat
Get a load of those CHEEKS! This big handsome guy is one of the many feral tomcats our community cat program has TNR'd (Trap-Neuter-Returned). Did you know that an unfixed cat can have up to 3 litters a year, with each litter averaging 4-6 kittens? That's a staggering number of kittens born into uncertainty. This program, made possible by the incredible support of our donors, is transforming the lives of cats and our community, one spay/neuter at a time.
Clinic Client
If you know me, you know I have a soft spot for shepherd mixes! This adorable shepherd mix pup paid a visit to our low-cost clinic for vaccines, and those nervous puppy eyes stole all of our hearts. With the dedication and compassion of our incredible clinic staff, we provide top-notch care to over 70 animals and their loving owners in a single day. We're proud to be here for you and your four(or three)-legged family members!
