Dennis Schick Fundraising Page!

This year, Dennis is graciously sponsoring pet adoptions for a whole weekend in August during our 2024 Saving Pets Challenge! If you are adopting one of our cats or dogs from Friday August 23rd to Sunday August 25th, Dennis will sponsor your adoption, as long as you make a donation here, on his personal Saving Pets Challenge page. He is donating up to $6,500 for these sponsorships to help the critters in our care find healthy homes where they are happy, cared for, and loved. Let's try to match his $6,500 sponsorship donation on his page, to double the impact that his generosity will have on the Alliance!

Reminisce on 18 amazing years of love at Animal Friends Alliance! Together, we can reach our goal of raising $175,000 for animals in need.

Animal Friends Alliance was founded in 2006 as Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming. In 2020, the two organizations merged to form Animal Friends Alliance - an adoption-guarantee shelter and subsidized spay & neuter clinic. Since 2006, we have adopted out over 41,000 dogs and cats to loving homes, spayed and neutered over 100,000 dogs and cats between our clinic and shelter, and helped over 5,400 community cats through our Community Cat Program and Adoptions Program.

Donate during our Saving Pets Challenge to help us continue our life-saving work in Northern Colorado and beyond. Here's to 18 – and many more – years of love!

This is Jessie, a dog with a big personality all wrapped up in a little body. She is super friendly with both people and other dogs, nobody is a stranger to this pup! Jessie is heartworm positive, which means she is available for foster to adopt. She would love to come hang out with you while she's getting her treatments, and maybe an adoption could happen from there! Come and meet sweet Jessie today!

Canuta

Hi, I'm Canuta! I'm a super affectionate girl with a real zest for life. I love puzzle toys, playing with stuffed animals, taking walks (I'm working hard to perfect my leash manners!) and watching squirrels. My enthusiasm can overwhelm young children so I would do a best in a home with kids ages 14 and up. I'm also crate trained and highly food motivated, so I pick up on things pretty quick. With time and patience, I'm ready to learn any new tricks and skills that you'd like to teach me! After I get my youthful energy out, I'm ready to relax and sunbathe. I absolutely love snuggling and being with people! If you are looking for a fun and loyal friend who wants to be right by your side, look no further and ask about me today.

Heichman

Heichman is a big-time explorer who loves finding new hiding spots around the house. She goes wild chasing laser pointers, balls, and anything that lets her perform acrobatic leaps onto furniture to catch her "prey." Heichman also enjoys sitting by the window, watching and imitating her bird friends. When she's not zooming around, she loves to nap in any cozy spot she discovers. Cat trees, beds, cardboard boxes-you name it, she'll find her spot and make herself comfortable. Heichman is a nearly perfect cat with all those charming kitty quirks!

Meet Namibia! This beautiful lady came to us with her brother Cameroon, and the two of them would love to go home with you! Although it takes Namibia a little to warm up to new people, she is as sweet as can be. She loves curling up in cozy spots and observing the world from a high vantage point.
