Thanks for stopping by! We're three very lucky (and very spoiled) rescue pets, and we're excited to raise money for the place that helped bring our family together. ABOUT ANIMAL FRIENDS ALLIANCE ✨
We're fundraising for Animal Friends Alliance, a nonprofit that’s been saving lives and spreading love since 2006. What started as two separate rescues, the Fort Collins Cat Rescue & Spay/Neuter Clinic and Animal House Rescue and Grooming, became one fabulous force for good in 2020. Now they’re an adoption-guarantee shelter and affordable spay/neuter clinic helping animals in Northern Colorado and beyond. Since 2006, we have adopted out over 41,000 dogs and cats to loving homes, spayed and neutered over 100,000 dogs and cats between our clinic and shelter, and helped over 5,400 community cats through our Community Cat Program and Adoptions Program.

Hi, I'm Astro! I'm one of the official Real Housepets of Saving Pets
Challenge! I'm an Alliance alum and a proud graduate of the ringworm ward - what a glow-up. My mom met me on her second day of work and knew I was meant to go home with her as soon as I was medically cleared! I'm the snuggliest of the bunch and will do anything for a Churu or some shredded cheese. I love playing fetch with my spring toys and cuddling with my people!

MEET SKYE ✨
Heyyy, I'm Skye: firstborn, bird-watcher, and full-time supervisor of everyone's business. I was rescued just like my siblings, but let's be honest... I run this place. My favorite things include afternoon sunshine, potato chips, Churus, and looking out the windows. Anyway, bow before your queen.

MEET SUKI ✨
Hi there, I'm Suki! Like Astro, I'm also a proud Alliance Alum! I'm a ~1.5 year old chow/husky mix. My parents say I'm spunky, silly, sweet, and the biggest ball of fluff you'll ever meet. I'd do anything for a spoonful of peanut butter (except get my nails trimmed - I hate that). My favorite activities are hunting grasshoppers, playing fetch, going to breweries and car shows, taking Horsetooth hikes, and being a walking snowplow in the winter. My story began in an under-resourced shelter in south Texas where I lived for an unknown amount of time. Last September, my mom (who works at Animal Friends Alliance!) was on a work trip learning about the challenges in animal welfare when she visited my shelter and met me for the first time. Not to brag, but she said that I was the cutest pup she's ever seen and she instantly knew I was going home with her. Me, and 7 other dog friends at the shelter, were brought back to Animal Friends Alliance for a second chance! When I arrived to Colorado, I went into foster with my new mom and dad. Turns out I was really sick, with not one but FOUR different illnesses that made me extremely underweight, lethargic, and in lots of pain. I likely wouldn't have made it if I stayed at the old shelter any longer. Over the course of a couple months, the super nice doggie doctors at the Alliance treated me for an upper respiratory infection, Coccidia, Giardia, and Ehrlichia. Thankfully, I made a full recovery and today I am a happy, healthy, and oh-so grateful pup!

MEET OUR MOM ✨
Hello, I'm Kaytlin! AKA the head of this fluffy household. I live in Fort Collins with my fiance and these three lovable goofballs. In my free time, I love going to concerts, reading, and paddle boarding at Horsetooth Reservoir. After graduating from CSU with a degree in Human Development & Family Studies, I spent 5 years teaching little humans before switching gears to help animals (and their humans) instead.
I’ve been the Volunteer Program Manager at Animal Friends Alliance for a year and a half now, and I love what I do. From welcoming new volunteers to organizing appreciation events and helping out at our annual fundraisers, I get to work with the most dedicated, compassionate people and make a real difference for animals in need. I'm so lucky to have a career where I get the unbeatable feeling of knowing that I'm making a difference in the lives of animals and pet parents in need every day. ❤️
Beyond the fun and fluff, we’re on a mission to provide comprehensive companion animal resources, services, and education to the community to prevent homelessness and promote the human-animal bond. And that’s where you come in! We're raising funds to support our life-saving programs, and we would be so grateful for your help.
