Can I bid on silent auction items if I'm NOT attending the event?

ABSOLUTELY!
 
If you are unable to attend, you can still participate in the silent auction by registering (at no cost) to be a "Virtual Bidder".
(Click on Registration/Tickets in the toolbar at the top of the page).
 
Silent auction bidding will go live on April 4, 2025 and end on May 5, 2025.
 
*All silent auction bidding will be processed through this site OR on the Givi app (excluding select raffle and live auction items that will be exclusive to the in person event, for more information, click on the Auction tab in the toolbar.)

How do I bid on items?

To bid on items in the silent acution, you will first have to either purchase a ticket for the event OR register for free to be a virtual bidder (click on "Register/ Tickets" in the toolbar at the top of the page):
 
*Ticket Purchasers: If you are purchasing tickets for more than one person, be sure to fill out your guests contact information at checkout. This will ensure they receive an email prompting them to register.
 
On the confirmation page during checkout, you will see a button to "Start Bidding Now" (also available in your confirmation email). This button will take you to a page to finish setting up your account.
 
At this point you can edit your registration details. If everything is correct, click "Set Up Account to Bid".
Create a password for your account and add a payment method* (If you checked the box to Save payment for future use during registration, you won’t need to add a payment method).
 
*You will not be able to bid on items until you have added a payment method. 
 
Once you have completed these steps, you will be take to the Auction Items Page to start bidding.
 
The silent auction will go live on April 4, 2025. You can place bids either on this site (click on the Auction tab in the toolbar) OR by downloading the Givi app on your phone.

The Givi app is recommemnded for all silent auction participants.
Givi makes placing and tracking your bids quick and easy by allowing you to:
-Set a max bid on items
-Receive outbid push notifications
-Monitor "favorite" items
-Scan-to-bid (bid via QR code)
-And more!

How do I use Givi?

How to Mobile Bid with Greater Giving Online Bidding:
  1. Register your email address, mobile number and credit card information on our registration page in advance of the event. 
  1. When the auction is open, you will receive an automated ‘Welcome’ text with your bidder link. 
  1. After clicking the link in the text, begin searching for packages by name or number 
  1. Select the package you wish to bid on. 
  1. You can Bid the next increment or Bid More than the next increment 
  1. If you choose to Bid More you can choose to set your Max Bid. If your max bid is the highest, the system will automatically bid in your favor until you are outbid or until the silent auction closes. If your bid is lower than the highest max bid on that package, you will be prompted to enter a higher bid. 
  1. To "watch" a package, select the star icon on the package. 
  1. To make a donation, select the Donation button on your home screen and choose a preset amount or select the Custom Amount button to enter the amount you wish to donate. 
  1. If you’re out-bid at any point before the silent auction closes, you will receive a text message. 
  1. To view packages you are bidding on, click the menu button and select Bids. 
  1. To view packages you are watching, click the menu button and select Favorites. 
  1. Once the auction closes, the guest with the highest bid will win. 
  1. Under the Bids area you can check your winning packages

How do I add or change the information for my ticket(s)?

You can add or change the information on your ticket by clicking the link in your registration email.
 
When you add your guests contact information to their tickets at checkout, your guests will also recieve a registration email where they can add or change the information associated with thier ticket.
