Huck is so excited about this year's Spirit Challenge.  Next week, he will be participating in three Spirit Challenge events: Board Breaking, Sogo, and the Punch and Kick A Thon.  Thousand Waves is a Not For Profit organization that is deeply rooted in the community. When you support Thousand Waves, you support their adaptive karate program, violence prevention outreach, and scholarships for kids and families.  

Huck is kicking off his Spirit Challenge by donation some of his own savings. He is donating to this organization that has helped him grow strong in so many ways. Here is what Huck has to say about Thousand Waves:

"It is a place where I make lots of friends. The other kids are very nice. The senpais ( teachers) are very encouraging and instructive.  They are strict and nice at the same time.  I have had a lot of challenges at karate, but they always teach me to come through.  I have learned a lot of Katas and Japanese.  They teach me karate and to be kind and strong.
